My research interests focus on Palaeozoic and Mesozoic ichnology and the use of Vertebrate and Invertebrate ichnofossils in the biostratigraophy, Palaoeecology and Palaeobiogeography as well as Geoheritage, Geoconservation and Geotourism. I have modest teaching experience as a temporary lecturer at Chouaïb Doukkali University of El Jadida (Morocco), most of it focused on Methodology of academic work and Geology of Morocco. My work provides a useful link between Earth sciences and Academic work in the department, encouraging research and teaching collaborations.
I was awarded my Ph.D. by the department of Geology at Chouaïb Doukkali University (El Jadida, Morocco) and the Institute of Geology at Technical University Bergakademie (Freiberg, Germany) in March 2014. My thesis was entitled “Late Paleozoic and Early Mesozoic continental ichnofaunas of Morocco (Sidi Kassem, Souss, Tiddas and Argana Basins): Ichnotaxonomy, Paleoecology and Biostratigraphy”. In it, I explore four basins from five stratigraphic intervals, described the paleontological data and got over interesting conclusions on Paleoecology and biostratigraphy.
