Basmah

Born in 1993, Basmah Felemban is a Saudi artist, she is the winner of the Arab Woman Award [2014] and then became a judge in [2015], and founder of the Saudi Street Art project; an initiative that aims to archive Saudi’s street art and which recently contributed to the Inner Voices exhibition held at downtown Jeddah.
Basmah’s work depicts a journey to a constitution of the truth. Geometric principles is the basis of her work, in which she believes is a medium that all truths can be revealed. At an early stage in her career, Basmah has exhibited in many international exhibitions such as venice biennale, Art Dubai and Art Istanbul. She also presented in different conferences on Islamic Art, Street Art Culture and her journey in her career path.
