Am Mohammed Nassar; I did a five years Architectural studying in Birzeit Uni. and ten months payed internship in ODBC-Paris.com June 2010 - April 2011. I had been working since five years in a different jobs as an assistant and a design development for different firms in Ramallah "Zan studio ; Design Green"; and lately I had been working as freelance Architect & Designer on several projects various from Designing and supervision residential projects to take parts in features Palestinian films as an Art director assistant and props master.

I come from Jinsafut; a Palestinian village that was described more than a hundred years ago as “a small village on high ground, with wells to the north, and a few olives.” Today, Jinsafut has a population of no more than 2500 inhabitants, all of whom cannot get very far due to mobility restrictions and socio-political barriers.

I refer to the architectural portfolio as “stories” because I believe in the potential that the story of architecture has in influencing our society. The way we build and organize our cities speaks for who we are; what we once were, and where we are heading to. This potential demands great responsibility: As architects, we must be prepared to design that which is coherent and suitable for our time and place, and architecture demands us to understand our role in society not just as mere spectators, but as elements of change.
