“My artistic vision is best conveyed through the photographic image; the goal being that the image speaks directly to the viewer, preferably without the use of language, written or spoken.
Since I was a kid, I've looked at the world through a viewfinder, figuratively at most, and literally in so many occasions, trying to capture that image which best records my impression of a location, people, time, scene, experience or whatever. I've traveled extensively to document the life around me as I’ve experimented it and I hope to keep doing so until I am able to say that I've collected a photographic record of our planet and our world with my camera.
A research professional by training and corporate executive by profession, my career was focused on the field of financial profitability and business development. Five main factors drove me to shift my direction into the path of art - appreciation, freedom, inspiration, realization, and power. First, viewing, examining and collecting art over the years developed my love and appreciation. Second, indulging in the freedom of self-expression that the nature of art entails. Third, traveling around the globe where I was surrounded by incredible natural beauty, history, culture, art, and people provided the inspiration. Fourth, studying photography helped me develop an eye and realize I might have some value to ad. Fifth, the exciting advent and development of digital cameras and photo processing software gave me the power to be in control of every aspect of creation from shooting to hanging the result on the wall. My goal is to use the vast array of digital technology to create art that might, even if in a small way, make a difference.
My art originates around the places I have lived in or traveled to. The sunsets, sunrises, water, trees, flowers, wild animals, birds, architecture and people provide a plethora of magical and interesting subjects. I then let my imagination lead the way. Visual art is the creative product of artists interpreting their view of their physical world, their experience, or their emotion through the use and emphasis of color and form in a wide range of media. The goal is to catch my audience's attention through the subject matter, composition, and beauty… to hold their attention, and bring them back for another look. Only then I know I have succeeded.”

Visual art is the creative product of artists interpreting their view of their physical world, their experience, and their emotion through the use and emphasis of color and form in a wide range of media. My technique for this expression is using digital photographs as the raw material that I alter and composite. The goal is to catch my audience's attention through subject matter, composition, and beauty, hold their attention, and bring them back for another look. When my work does this I have succeeded.
Recently, I have, additionally, grown some passionate interest in the field of Travel Writing/Journalism in general, and in Adventurous Sports in specific.
Adding all of these interesting ingredients to the plate, successfully mixing them, and coming up with a recipe that would inspire, would be my ultimate life mission.
