Bilarabic Design Festival is organized by the Fine Arts & Design Department of the Lebanese International University, Saida Campus. It seeks to embrace the Arabic art, calligraphy, typography, illustration, patterns, product, furniture, interior and graphic design as a dynamic platform for open-ended collaboration, participation and discussion. Last Year’s theme, “Arabic connects” focused on the preservation and renovation of the Arabic concepts and compositions. Bilarabic was presented at the Saudi Design Week in Riyadh, October 2016. This year’s theme, “Transformation and Growth”, will be displayed in KED during Beirut Design week from May 19th till 26th. In addition to that, the festival at LIU Saida will showcase artwork of a group of Arab artists and designers: it’s goal being multidisciplinary discussion and collaboration.
