7aret Abu Awad is a Jordanian television series that was produced in 1981. It deals with the life of a meddlesome sharp tongued man called Abu Awad (Nabil Al Mashini) and his family. It was a work of satire. This is my way of remembering this show that I grew up with. Some asked me why I haven't redone them in the style of my Sa7 El Nom series [Hidden] and took up this more cartoonish approach. I simply did not want to regurgitate that minimal style.
