Branding for Jordan's "Go Local" Initiative

Full branding of Jordan's Go Local, Support Local initiative. "Go Local, Support Local" is a grassroots initiative that aims to reinvigorate Jordan’s local economy by supporting and promoting 4 different industries: Businesses, services & startups, Farmers & producers, Community-based organizations Artists & musicians The project consisted of logos, Icon designs, color palette, illustrations and advertisements for the initiative. The concept behind the logo is a mesh between traditional and modern. The use of the official font for the city of Amman was used to portray the new and young feel of the local talents present in Jordan, while actively supporting a local talent that came up with that specific typeface. I decided to have each industry be represented by a unique icon and color to reflect each category. With the launch of the initiative, we placed various ads around the country using photographs of Jordanian talent from each industry to showcase how much talent is available in our country, and the accompanying text was meant to connect the audience to the picture and the initiative through sayings they have heard, and probably used, many times before.
