Saad

My name is Saad Shaar and I have recently resumed my search for a career in Graphic Design. During my time spent at the American University of Science & Technology (AUST) completing my BA in Graphic Design, I found myself consumed by design and all it's aspects. My favorite, most researched and practiced sections of design, are branding, typography, and packaging.

My projects have always been clean and simple, but full of wit and clearly communicated. I pride myself in the way that my designs don't have to be complex to be aesthetically pleasing and communicatively effective. It is that pride & confidence in my work that enabled me to have faith in myself and design process. Graduating from AUST with an A on my final year project certainly did give me the boost needed to excel and believe in my style of design.

After joining the workforce for a while, I realized that creativity needs replenishment, and took some time off to open my mind to the world outside design. I spent my time getting to know people using and expressing myself in a different art form, Dj-ing in the nightlife of Lebanon.

I have always found myself working very well in teams, as I believe in team work, and the unity of a team. I have a unique sense of humor that often aids me in designing unique work, working in a team gives me opportunity to try my designs out. I am also a very meticulous and hard working person, I take pride in all my work, and never stop until I have satisfied everyone involved.
