It is an initiative in a form of a service that aims to bring food education to Egyptian schools and to replace the home economics course of the 6th grade in the national curriculum with a nutrition course including a cooking class as an educational tool to teach students about balanced healthy diets, local seasonal food, how to cook healthy meals, to understand food labels, and to connect them to what they eat. It will be developed, to a second phase which is a gardening and a cooking course for the year after, teaching them how to plant healthy food.
