I was born in 1985. Back then, we had no iPad, no computer, limited TV channels and no Play Station. Instead, we had a life! And my knee scars can prove it.
We climbed trees, fences, we rode bikes and skates and skate boards. We played basketball, handball, dodge ball and mostly football. We played too much football that we even competed with neighbourhoods!
I was moving the whole time. I did not know back then, that some day I'll be moving characters in my computer.. And I think that all the moves I animate now, were recorded in my head since I was a child!
I loved and still love to observe how things move, how people talk, how they laugh! I try to figure out the profession of someone by the way he/she moves or talks or even dresses.. some may catch me staring!
The reason I became an animator is to cheer up people.. as my class mate once said in his speech of our school graduation: "Sarah has the ability to cheer up the most depressed person!"
Since then, I took it as a mission.
But the cause of me becoming an animator, is my child hood... keeping the child in me alive.
