My background is incredibly eclectic with one common thread running through each professional move I’ve made, that is my creativity and passion for design. My story begins in my home country of Syria where I first began my work experience during summer holidays at printing presses and publishing houses in Damascus.
I’m now Director of Special Projects at UAS International Trip Support, managing implementing Oracle Fusion ERP, and reengineering the business process to best practice.
Before UAS, I was working as Products Manger (MENA) for WinSoft International, a French software and technology company managing Adobe creative products.
I'm also an art director and Arabic-scripted typography consultant with 16 years of experience combining best practice design principles and local/regional knowledge to add value to a multitude of well-known global and regional brands including McDonalds, Coca-Cola, BMW, Nivea, Standard Chartered Bank, Dubai Mall , Souq Bahar, SEGA Republic, The InterContinental Hotel Group and many others.

I’m a talented Arabic Digital Calligrapher, having spoken at a series of international events and regularly exhibited at local calligraphy exhibitions. A lecturer and facilitator on the topics of advanced Arabic calligraphy and typography solutions, having contributed to numerous universities and schools in the region.
Passionate and dedicated to creativity, design and Arabic heritage; calm under pressure; able to thrive in a team environment, delight clients, and successfully contribute to a project at multiple levels..
