ArabNet is the premier event for the Arab web industry, and aims to grow web content, services and applications in the region by fostering the ecosystem of entrepreneurship. ArabNet 2010 brought together over 500 leading executives from across the MENA, and showcased 20 entrepreneurs with bright ideas and promising startups, all of whom connected with investors. Building on its success, IBAG, the organizer of ArabNet, is seeking to hire a number of excited young people with entrepreneurial spirit and creative ideas to take the ArabNet brand to the next level. All positions will be located in Beirut, Lebanon.

Job description: We're looking for a recent graduate with a strong interest in web / tech to assist with research and writing. This person will keep up with web industry news and will conduct in-depth research and analysis on specific subjects as required by the ArabNet team and/or IBAG. This person will also be a cornerstone for the organization's written communications, including drafting blog posts and articles (based on research), as well as communications to community, clients, and partners. Will be located in Beirut, Lebanon.

Qualifications: This person should have 0-2 years of experience in research / writing. Strong preference for a person who has a solid grasp for the language of internet business and social media. Preference for avid user of facebook / twitter / linkedin. Strong command of English and Arabic. Must be a team player, interested in learning and developing expertise in digital business, able to multitask, comfortable and excited to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
