Key Responsibilities:
• Character Animation: Animate characters and creatures, ensuring that all actions are believable and fluid, from walk cycles and facial expressions to complex action sequences.
• Environment Animation: Animate elements of the environment, including natural movements (like water, trees, or clouds), mechanical objects, and background interactions that help to enrich the visual storytelling.
• Animating for Games and Interactive Media: Create real-time animations that will be used within games, AR/VR experiences, and other interactive platforms, ensuring performance and technical requirements are met.
• Scene Animation: Work on animating entire scenes, ensuring smooth transitions between actions and maintaining the overall pacing and flow of animation for film, TV, or other media formats.
• Motion Capture: Integrate motion capture data into the animation pipeline, cleaning up mocap data, and ensuring that it matches the required visual style.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other artists, modelers, designers, and developers to ensure animations are integrated seamlessly into the final product. Participate in discussions about visual style, animation timing, and narrative direction.
• Feedback and Iteration: Take feedback from directors, leads, and team members to make necessary revisions to animations and refine the final product.

• Portfolio: A solid portfolio or demo reel showcasing a range of 3D animations (character animations, environment animations, and other motion graphics). The portfolio should demonstrate your ability to handle various animation styles, from realistic to stylized.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to work in a highly detailed and precise manner while maintaining fluid motion, ensuring animations are polished and polished to a high standard.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and creative challenges that arise during the animation process.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and take constructive feedback.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Game Development Experience: Experience with animating for games, especially character animations in real-time engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Advanced Rigging Knowledge: Experience with rigging and understanding of bone structure, inverse kinematics (IK), and forward kinematics (FK).
• Mocap Integration: Proficiency in cleaning up and refining motion capture data for use in animation projects.
• Experience with Particle Systems: Understanding of animating complex particle systems and visual effects (such as smoke, fire, and explosions) in 3D applications.
• Experience with Facial Animation: Experience animating facial expressions using blendshapes or other facial animation systems.
• VR/AR Animation Experience: Experience with VR and AR animation principles, optimizing performance and interactivity within virtual environments.
