Job Description:

This position will hold dual roles focused on the creation a highly interactive web site and developing graphics for a simulation / video game.

-Create, manage and maintain the appearance, look and layout of a highly interactive commercial website.

-Create design prototypes, including the graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content of the web site.

-Ensure that the layout of the site and content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements where appropriate.

-Experience supporting international websites utilizing multiple languages.

-Support the maintenance and updates of the website.

-Has a passion for creating simulations and games, experience with the latest game techniques, ability to express and implement the qualities that make a great game.

-Provide an artistic sensibility with deep
knowledge of design elements, color, composition, and style to bring a unique and creative character to games being developed.

-Create backgrounds, characters, elements, sprites and other graphical media for use in video games.

-Understands graphic workflow to integrate art assets during game development.

-Proven ability to develop high quality animations.

-Strong animation skills (Facial, Character, and Object) for use in games.

-Must present and discuss portfolio that demonstrates web and graphic design skills, attention to detail, and artistic sensibility.

-Ability to adapt to new technology, collaborate productively with others, and embrace change.

-Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers on a multicultural team.

-Ensure that all designs falls within the approved brand guidelines and messages.

-Continuously build expertise with respect to industry trends and innovations.
Qualifications:

-BS or BA degree in web / graphics design.

-Five years experience designing websites across multiple browsers.

-Three years experience developing websites using (Drupal / Liferay).

-Experience building (Drupal Modules / Liferay Portlets).

-Experience developing graphics for use in the Unity graphics engine.

-Expertise in Adobe CS4/CS5 (Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator) required
Additional Requirements:

-Ability to be flexible in a changing work environment and to work under pressure, typical of all start-up environments.

-Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills.
