Creative Director

Wysada.com, the leading online homeware, decorations and interiors site is looking for candidates to fill in the following vacancy "Design Manager" in our Amman offices.

Minimal job requirements:
Ability to work in a start-up environment and a fast moving company
A degree in design or an equivalent certificate
6+ years of design experience with at least 2 years in a managerial position
Excellent design skills. Possesses analytical design thinking and extreme conceptual sense
Master in Adobe package (Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign)
Experienced in web design techniques and user experience design
Knowledge in HTML/CSS in not a must but a plus
Knowledge in professional studio photography in not a must but a big plus
Experienced in ATL, BTL, packaging, and advertising
Experience in working with media agencies, digital print offices and PR agencies
Experience in online advertising, web display ads, social ads
Good analytical mind
Ability to work for long hours and aggressive deadlines
Excellent command of English, written and verbally

Job description:
The candidate will lead and manage Wysada's multicultural design team across our offices and lead our efforts to create a state of the art design department, and one of the kind online experience, strengthening our brand equity and creating successful ad campaigns running across all channels. The design manager will be responsible for:
Online site design and user experience
Leading Image production and photo handling/retouching
Creating online ad campaigns using international online advertising standards
Creating our offline print and PR media material
Managing the current design team, teaching, mentoring, evaluating and recruiting
Liaising with internal teams across various offices and business units, especially product management, technology and marketing teams
Identify and communicate with agencies and other 3rd party vendors
