Creative Display Panels For Award Winning Hotel

We are looking for a freelance graphic designer to design a series of display panels for an award-winning small hotel. We want to explain to our guests a whole range of information about the lodge in a fun, eye-catching and informative way. Can you help us?

The challenge:
We want to explain lots of varied information about Feynan Ecolodge. For example:
• our environmental performance (how much water we use, how our solar panels work),
• community projects (how money from the lodge helps the local community, who the local community are),
• conservation information (the types of zones in the Dana Reserve, the history of the reserve, about the animals and plants),
• historical information (a timeline, information on archaeological sites, a map of the sites)
• activities available at the lodge (different types of activities, hiking routes, a schedule of activities)
• a map of the lodge (showing where key facilities are)

Each panel will be different in design but they will need an overall theme / colour palette / style so they look like they belong together.

You:
We have the information – we want you to do the design! You must be creative with fresh, new ideas. You must be able to grasp a range of different types of information and analyse it to come up with ideas on how to display the information. You need to work flexibly with us – discuss your ideas and work collaboratively. It would be helpful if you have experience creating infographics. Ideally we’d like someone who has done something similar before, but we don’t mind if you don’t have much experience. We would like to see some examples of your work though. You should have availability for this work starting straight away

Us:
We are a small company who manage the award-winning Feynan Ecolodge. We are passionate about developing exciting and unique escapes in Jordan and doing this in an environmentally and socially sustainable way. Expected output:
Design for up to 7 display panels in English in Illustrator format (or similar), suitable to be printed onto canvas and displayed in hotel lobby. We want to get working on these by the end of January at the latest.
