Senior Web Designer

Responsibilities:
1. Execute all visual design stages from concept to final delivery
2. Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
3. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
4. Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
5. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Requirements:
1. An understanding of web programming and scripting languages
2. Demonstrated proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
3. A good working knowledge of the main web design applications
4. strong creative skills

6. good problem-solving skills and a logical approach to work
7. an ability to work to deadlines
8. an understanding of legislation and guidelines for website accessibility
9. a willingness to keep up to date with changes in technology and software.
10. Basic understanding of HTML (including HTML5), CSS3 and Javascript
11. Familiarity with User Experience (UX) methodology and documentation
12. Experience designing for social media, including basic knowledge of latest standards, guidelines and sizes used for all major platforms
13. Experience design online advertising, including familiarity with Google display standards
14. 3+ years experience in web/graphic design.
