Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Graphic Designer with strong interests and capabilities in the creation of simplified and engaging graphics in Istanbul, Turkey. Someone with an eye for modern design to help craft the look and feel of the new user experience.
The successful candidate must be capable of being a team player in the Corporate Communications department, This position requires experience in high-end, creative design and layout concepts as well as a proven record of working in a corporate environment, handling multiple tasks at the same time, and adhering to, mastering and expanding upon strict corporate brand guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, produce and edit a variety of graphics materials - both print and online -including brochures, newsletters, advertisements, presentations.
Create design templates and sample layouts based on corporate visual identity, as well as knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts
Evolve brand visual design system as needed.
Manage department's image library, including selecting, organizing, color correcting and maintaining a portfolio of photography and images
Create various type treatments within new visual identity, including logo lock-ups, co-branding, product/service names, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of superior design history either in B2B, corporate or other relevant fields, including ad agencies, design studios, marketing firms, etc.
Must possess a modern sense of design aesthetics, and be very experienced in taking a concept and transforming it into a design theme to be used on a series of marketing pieces
Excellent verbal and written communications skills to convey ideas clearly and interact effectively with business partners, including the ability to be direct yet diplomatic and professional when addressing issues or deficiencies
Strong client service orientation and ability to work with different business partners throughout the organization
Perfectionism and passion about art and design; unflagging attention to detail and proofreading skills
Strong organizational skills with ability to work under tight deadlines and function well during periods of high volume production
Problem solving "on the fly" abilities and a team player work ethic to help colleagues with production, presentations and last-minute changes for hard-deadline projects
Flexible and cool-headed under constructive criticism
Software Skills:
Required: Adobe Creative Suite 4-5 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Acrobat Professional, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Preferred: Aftereffect, final cut
Experience and Education:
A minimum of 3-5 years of directly related work experience as described above
BA in Graphic Design
