I had the privilege to work on the 2016 Opel Astra and contribute to its design.
The work started in 2011 with early rough sketches. Once the sketches have been approved by Design leadership, the concept was translated into a 1/3 scale clay model. Afterwards the theme is further developed into a full 1:1 scale clay model that is then executed for feasibility through CAD. The CAD data is then used to manufacturer the car.
